TNT National Team Opportunity Fee & Requirements

Registration Deadline: June 1, 2026.

Team Trial Competition Format
The Tumbling / Trampoline / Double Mini Team Trial Competition will be conducted as an Open Age, Co-Ed competition.

National Team Eligibility & Selection

AAU Senior National Team
Levels: Intermediate and Above
Selection: Top 3 athletes per level, per event (Co-Ed)

AAU Junior National Team
Levels: Novice and Below
Selection: Top 2 athletes per level, per event (Co-Ed)

Competition Requirement for Selected Athletes


1. Current Member of the AAU

2. Must have competed in an AAU TNT competition prior to the National Championships & Junior Olympic Games.

3. Team Trial Format

A) Tumbling /Trampoline/ Double-Mini

B) Open Age Group

C) Boys Division / Girls Division – (will not be Co-Ed)

D) Top 1 athlete if 1 - 14 competitors

     Top 2 athletes 15 – 24 competitors

     Top 3 athletes 25 + competitors

E) Per level, Per Event

F) Must meet pass requirement to make the team.

4.  Apparel – Selected Team Members will be provided a National Team Leotard or Step-in & shorts. Warm ups and apparel will be available for purchase.  

5.  Athletes selected for the AAU National Team must compete at the 2027 AAU Junior Olympic Games Trampoline & Tumbling competition in Houston, Texas

6. The scores from the 2026 National Championships in Knoxville and the 2026 Junior Olympics prelims in Des Moines, Iowa will determine the National Team selection.  The higher of the 2 scores will be used.


Personal Info

By submitting an entry and in consideration of acceptance into the Team Trial, I agree to the following on behalf of my athlete:
1. AAU Membership - My athlete has a current AAU membership and will maintain it for the duration of the team commitment. An EB membership is required.
2. If Selected to a National Team, I Agree That My Athlete Will:
A. Attend and compete in the 2027 AAU Junior Olympic T&T Competition
B. Participate in the Parade of Champions at the 2027 AAU Junior Olympic T&T Competition
C. Participate in at least one additional opportunity offered to National Team athletes
3. Waiver & Release of Liability - In consideration of acceptance of my athlete’s entry, I hereby waive, release, and discharge the AAU, AAU Executive Board, and their respective officers, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims for damages arising from participation in the Team Trial, training sessions, performances, activities, or travel to and from related events.
4. Behavior Contract - I agree to sign a Parent/Athlete Behavior Contract if my athlete qualifies for the National Team. This contract will be included in the National Team Acceptance Packet.
5. Image & Likeness - I grant permission for my athlete’s image and likeness to be used by the Executive Committee for social media and promotional purposes. Full names will not be published.
6. Event Invitations & Funding - National Team athletes may receive invitations to additional events. These events may or may not include funding assistance. Participation in one additional event opportunity is required of all team members.
7. Failure to Comply - Failure to comply with these conditions may result in removal from the National Team and ineligibility to try out for the following year’s AAU T&T National Team.
